Are you interested in supporting community power change? Do you want to develop your skills in community engagement and organising, working outdoors to help support local people taking local actions for nature? We are looking for a new team of Wildlife Champions Community Engagement Volunteers to help support our growing network of Wildlife Champions across South Gloucestershire and the county of Bristol. If so, this could be an opportunity for you.
You will support the staff team with monthly training sessions for existing Wildlife Champions, and quarterly taster days for future Champions. Support the Wildlife Champions run events in their communities, join events in different communities, and give talks in priority postcode areas to build up visibility and interest in the programme.
